It's sad to hear how hard people in the Sydney queer scene push for Muslims to deconvert. I didn't even realize it was an issue. I wonder how similar queer Christians feel in the US? I know there are lots of Christian churches in America where queerness is celebrated, but there are still many, many churches where it's condemned, and I know a lot of the queer friends I have are areligious. I don't think I've personally seen it in my spaces, and I hope it doesn't.
