    I've never ever seen anyone shamed for showing emotions, maybe in a movie about the army ? The author doesn't even come back to the shaming aspect. People are taught to deal with their emotions in a mature way because this is a basic requirement of life in society.

    What a bad article.

    First, men should preemptively protect women from their physical superiority, and now an article with a passive-agressive title that implies that "moms are being shamed for showing emotions" ?

    All parents, but mothers in particular, face so much pressure to do things right.

    This is weird and nonsensical. I find the implicit and systematic victimization of any group misleading and inappropriate, whether it is jews, women, gays, straights, men or whatever. If these issues matter to the author, they should tackle them responsibely.
