I have always admired the Governator. In this article specially I found his comments on Robert Kennedy Jr to be deeply empathetic.
I think a lot of people on tildes will disagree and probably jump all over me. (Which is fine!) I want to be clear; like Arnold, I think Kennedy's spread of misinformation is a problem. But I appreciate that Arnold understands where Kennedy is coming from and how he got there. More saliently, I admire that Arnold gets people:
I’m just saying it’s not that you can go to someone and say, “Look, these are the facts.”
You can't impose your worldview on someone. You have to understand where they're coming from first and meet them where they are.
