Interesting article. Its one sided with the main story since his partner did not want to be interviewed but it doesn’t seem like the writer even tried to be objective. Jacob breaks up with his girlfriend “out of the blue” because he didn’t understand her and was gaining a lot of weight since he delt with his resentment. She moves on and gets engaged. She moves back in with him which he thinks it’s great. Then she moves her fiancee in and Jacob thinks that even better because he splits the rent three ways. Then they have an argument where Jacob threatens another person with a knife and the ex-girlfriend and her fiancee move out and break up. That’s missing a lot of context.
I was listening to someone reading poetry (or they may as well have been) while I read this. That's probably why this came off as great prose poetry. Well done!

That ride sounds almost as wild as the shit I used to read on r/bestofredditorupdates
