We've seen wildcat strikes most recently with WV and OK teachers. It's come up again in the video in the story where an entire construction crew walks off the job because a supervisor tried to fire some workers for not submitting to racist abuse.

Personally I don't know if it's frustrating or inspirational, how much workers, and people in general, are willing to put up with before taking collective action for how little they're actually asking for (i.e. not dealing with racism, not paying for school supplies out of pocket, etc.). What stirs something in me is seeing all of those people looking at one another and knowing that they have each other's back.

That’s why it’s so viral. Because everybody wants that deep down. Everybody wants to move as one.

    ...

If we can get it in our heads that we are the people, and if we make our numbers count, we can change anything.

It is frustrating to know that he was fired for posting the video, and I hope someone there stands up for him too.
