Substack recommendations thread

I love substack as a platform but have trouble with their discoverability. What are your favourite and most recommendable Substacks that you wish other people knew about?

    I discovered Big a few weeks back. I've been increasingly cynical about the USA and capitalism over the last couple of years, and this newsletter has, surprisingly, tempered that cynicism. The combination of historical anecdotes about past monopolies that have since faded away and current news about Khan chipping away at modern monopolies has given me hope that things can actually change.

      Based on the posts that people occasionally share, I'm skeptical of this writer. Does he write about anything that conflicts with his ideology? Real history is complicated.
