I just thought that this was an interesting title format for this specific video and that it was odd that it showed up in my algorithm. So I figured I'd share it with people.

The algorithm occasionally throws totally random shit like this into my recommendations too, and I have no idea why since they're seemingly unrelated to anything else I have ever watched. If it's total crap, I usually just hit "not interested", hope it learns from that, and move on to the next video it's feeding me. :P

However, lately I've noticed it's been recommending a ton of 10-16 year old videos to me for whatever reason. Although, most of those videos I have actually enjoyed since they're usually old viral videos from way way back in the day so they're a bit of a nostalgia trip. E.g. This Just Dance - Rasputin video from 15 years ago popped up in my feed a few days ago, and I remember watching it back then. And after watching that it led to a more recent "reunion" video of the same family recreating the original video, which was fun to watch too. :)

Speaking of totally random stuff, I remember a week or two where it was recommending a random high school's morning announcement videos. These things would have like 0-3 views and I could not figure out for the life of me why it would give me that. I think maybe it was when I was watching a lot of rather absurd comedy videos (Limmy's show, Oblivion NPC interactions in real life, etc), and perhaps people with those "weird" interests got weird/low quality stuff?

Heh, that's a weird one. I had something a bit like that happen to me too, but it was a random school choir's channel in rural Africa somewhere (in Nigeria, IIRC). Their videos only had a few dozen views but they were actually amazing singers and deserved way more views than they had, IMO.

Unlike with your situation, I watch a fair amount of similar kinds of content (very very small channels that post themselves singing, doing cover songs, etc.) so I actually understand where that recommendation likely came from though. I actually subbed to that choir's channel too, but I'm subscribed to so many now I actually can't find it in my list anymore to link to it, nor can I remember the name of it. :(
