Now, I haven't seen another source and I'm not even positive who said it, so take it with the biggest grain of salt possible, but if it is true, it's not a good look for her either.

On the other hand (some of) these protesters were able to storm the capitol building during a session and nobody seemed to really stop them which is just wild. Many protesters were being relatively peaceful though and it was refreshing to not see the police descend on them like wild animals...that’s how it’s supposed to work we have a right to protest in this country!
I’m also sure the light presence of police was deliberate, I think their was a real worry that extreme violence against these protesters might galvanize a very real movement against the federal government and split this country in two. Remember how many votes this idiot got.
I personally think one of the reasons the feds are so hands-off with far right protestors is because they are worried of causing another Oklahoma City.

It was funny to see the dissonance with these protesters where they arrive at the capitol in a furious anger believing their country is being destroyed but leave quickly once the police tell them...

Where’s their fight? Their fury? They take a flash bang or two and like a single volley of tear gas and they neatly disperse and probably thanked the police on their way out.

Now, why were the police so unprepared? That is probably about biases (aka, BLM will riot, MAGA people won't).

Good to know.
I knew that the National Guard was Trump's, and saw that was one of the hypothesized reasons for not wanting them around yesterday.

It’s so bizarre.
