I found this video years ago back, and every now and again I'm reminded of it and go back for another watch. I've always been a bit of a night owl, and watching these guys explore New York City in the middle of the night is just so incredibly captivating to me. And not just, "Wow holy shit, that's neat!"

There's a section in the film where they explore an underground encampment that some unhoused persons have established, and I was impressed with how gentle and kind they were. At first glance it feels grimy to put a camera in someone's face, but I feel like it allowed these people to tell their stories, and for them to be shared. These are some people's lives, literally occurring directly beneath our feet sometimes.

Beyond even that though, there are just some incredibly interesting, and captivating scenes and imagery. Like some old graffiti they find.
