I really hope this works out well. We're at the point where we won't get to see many more movies from him — I mean, the guy is 80 years old. If this performs like Blackhat, it's hard to imagine...

If this performs like Blackhat, it's hard to imagine he'd get another chance. I guess I should be plenty satisfied with the piles of great work we've already seen out of the guy, but I can't help but want to see more from him — and it sounds like he doesn't want to stop yet anyway.

I really hope Heat 2 gets made, but there's no way Warner is handing him a hundred million if Ferrari does poorly.

Mann's been attached to tons of projects that never got made, and a few have gotten beyond this point — it's still just too early to say, especially with the strike (soon to be multiple strikes?)
