In light of Oppenheimer releasing this week, I wanted to draw attention to one of my favorite documentaries: Trinity and Beyond.
I think I originally watched this as part of my US History class and it really opened my eyes on the destructive power of the bombs, but also the rampant increase in their power.
90 minutes of archival footage, some interviews, and narrated by William Shatner make this a timeless classic and a logical followup to the Los Alamos development of the Trinity bomb.
It's also the only documentary I've ever bought the soundtrack to.
