Another article from Forbes suggests that Disney may be considering moving away from Kang as the main villain of the Secret Wars arc.
This wouldn't surprise me given Johnathan Majors' recent assault charges, but it would also probably mean reworking some scripts to build up a new villain in 2025. The easy answer would be to recast the part and handwave the change away by saying that this version of Kang doesn't look like the one we've seen. If they do decide to pivot, my vote goes to Doctor Doom, who will almost certainly be a part of the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.

Part of me thinks that if they were going to replace Majors or write Kang out of the story, they wouldn't have given him a prominent role in the season. It'll be interesting to see what Marvel decides to do.
