I've heard about this for a while, it's going to take place during one night one production of the show and it stars Gabriel LaBelle (The Fabelmans). I'm excited for it. With both this and A Complete Unknown coming out this year despite being expected later is pretty interesting. I guess studios saw that the Oscar season this year is looking kind of weak and are taking advantage of it.
It's weird this is being released by Sony and not Universal (SNL is an NBC show). But Sony hasn't had an Oscar contender since their double punch with Hollywood and Little Women.
