My first memory of seeing Tony Todd's work was the Night of the Living Dead remake. I possibly saw him before, but he may have been in Klingon makeup.
He had some great Star Trek roles. He brought out big personality for Kurn in TNG, and the DS9 episode, The Visitor, is a top shelf episode. I always get excited when he pops up in Star Trek. One of my favorite guests in the franchise. Up there with Andrew Robinson and Jeffrey Combs.
All that is to say, RIP. You were good at your craft and had a hell of a memorable voice. Thanks, Tony.
Sorry to hear that. Loved Candyman. Never saw him in anything else.
This is sad news. He was a great character. Everything I saw him in was either spooky or terrifying.
