Throughout the very lengthy trial, I think there was more evidence to suggest that Depp’s team were right and Heard’s team was not. Heard’s testimony tended to be inconsistent compared to Depp’s. Witness testimony and photographs (such as a photo taken hours after Heard’s claims that she had bruises over her face disproved her timeline) tended to support Depp.

That it became a cultural issue that ended the era of MeToo is not really Depp’s fault. At that point in time MeToo had already fallen off favor. Just like how it was very in vogue when Heard came out with everything in 2018.

I think if Depp was truly guilty of everything Heard claimed he would have done the right wing grifter thing. Gone on podcasts and Tucker Carlson. And then move to Israel. Stuff that Russell Brand and Kevin Spacey did. But he didn’t do any of that.
