Man I would love to support more ways to buy & watch stuff online, I just have a real hard time being excited for any of them. None of them seem to really add any value into their service, the prices are identical across all of them for both renting and purchasing. They all have very poor documentation about 4k, hdr, downloads, and app availability.

I highly doubt I'll ever truly use any of them and just stick to buying blu-rays, and than ripping them to my hdd so I have digital copies. At least than I know I always have 4k & hdr, and I can always watch them without worrying about them being taken off the store one day.

Seems like a smart thing for them to do. They're an already established brand when it comes to entertainment. More importantly, they already have millions of people's credit card information from their rewards program, which gives them a huge advantage.

Just use your AMC Stubs login and you don't even have to put in your credit card info. You can be watching a movie within 30 seconds of downloading the app.
