I haven't been listening to much, but I've been in a techno mood lately.

Gerald Donald's collective works, such as his work as Drexciya, Dopplereffekt, and Arpanet, which is all this Rephlex records-adjacent (and often signed) Detroit techno and electro that just hits a bit different.

I've been listening to a lot of Legowelt, as well. I really like his album Legendary Freaks in the Trash of Time, but a lot of his work is very similar, this sort of unique, obviously techno, but also potentially something else, especially when he steps into a more electro vibe. Nobody quite does techno like Legowelt, especially after the mid 2010s where he sort of did his own Detroit techno-inspired thing, and a lot of techno drifted towards this generic kick thud sound.

I've been revisiting the only two Anterior albums ever made The Age of Silence [2007] and Echoes of the Fallen [2011] and boy they're still amazing. If you like melodic thrashy metal heavy on the guitar this is for you. Oh how I wish they would get back together. The talent here is immense.
