Lots of indie-pop from Edinburgh in the 1980s. Posting this because it's fun and not well known at all, but a good reference for this type of indie guitar noise pop that Scotland excelled at....

This is awesome!!! Man, i love the lo-fi sound. Fits beautifully between the Frowning clouds and the Squires. Any more Scottish indie-pop suggestions?

Dog Faced Hermans - Mary Houdini: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5VLyuUrxZw (this is more raucous, more punk and less pop)

        Not Scottish, but

        The Primitives - Lazy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Caa41Dean4o

Talulah Gosh - Beatnik Boy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DZ-NmJdl5U (Not Scottish, but this was originally on a Scottish label. And it's much more indie pop, less raucous than anything else on the list).
