Happy to see her back! Also, wow are those "oo-OO-oo" lines infectious. I would love another album from her. Heal and Ride are both stellar.

This is my favorite Eurovision song this year, and I find myself singing that "And all I care about is you-OO-oo, you're stuck on me like a tattoo-OO-oo" part to myself every few days then have to come back here to listen to it in full. :P That synth sounds like something straight from 90s trance music too, which I love.

I'd never heard of her before though, so I'm going to have to check out those albums!

Yeah, it's gotten a LOT of repeat plays from me since I heard it here. Like, an embarrassing amount.

"Euphoria" was both my introduction to her and Eurovision as well. As an uncultured American I had no idea that there was a gigantic annual pop song olympics that much of the rest of the world had been involved in since the 50s, and as a pop music superfan, I was mad it took me that long to learn about it!

Anyway, Heal and Ride are both great for different reasons. Heal is much closer to what you hear on "Tattoo" -- synthy with great hooks. Ride is a bid edgier (by pop music standards, so like, not much) and a bit less hook-forward. "Love Me America" is my favorite from that album, and I promise it has nothing to do with my national vanity!

Anyway, both do a great job of showcasing Loreen's incredible voice backed up by great arrangements, and each has a relatively solid album-length contour, which makes them feel a bit more cohesive than standard pop releases which are more singles-focused.
