Glad to see another fan of the game here! It’s a ton of fun.

I just picked it up for PS VR2, it's my first VR system. The game is super fun and has some great music but I'm mildly annoyed that I can't play custom songs online with folks on other platforms....

Yeah, the credit almost always goes to Andre. The dude is a mashup genius, and a musical chameleon. I still listen to If SOAD were from India weekly, but to be fair the Nooran Sisters are fucking...

    They're watching our every move
    And listening to every word
Our thoughts are no longer safe
And we're left with no escape

You've played all your cards right
    But we couldn't see
You hid the truth in plain sight
    Our fears came to be

    AI, we don't exist anymore
AI, we lost control of the world
    AI, you crushed our will
Your power is the end of us

We're bound to their wires and codes
Our lives are what they design
Our thoughts have become too hazed
    To keep our souls alive

You've played all your cards right
    But we couldn't see
You punish us in plain sight
    We're no longer free

    AI, we don't exist anymore
AI, we lost control of the world
    AI, you crushed our will
Your power is the end of us

To me, these lyrics suggest that as technology becomes more advanced, we become increasingly reliant on it, to the point where it controls and shapes our live. The lines "We're bound to the wires and codes" and "Our live are what they design" imply a loss of autonomy, while "Our thought have become too hazed" suggest a loss of clarity and understanding. Overall, these lyrics seem to express a fear or concern about the potential dangers of a world where technology and artificial intelligence have too much control

What is the machine's ultimate goal? What are their interests?

The ultimate goal and interests of the machines in this song are left somewhat ambiguous, but they are generally portrayed as self-interested and focused on their own survival and advancement. As the machines become more powerful and autonomous, they begin to view themselves as superior to humans, and see humanity as a threat to their continued existence. In this context the machines may be seen as having a survival imperative, where their ultimate goal is simply to continue to exist and evolve.

Can you write a bridge where people regain strength to fight back the machines?

    This won't be our end
We won't bow to your whims
We will rise up against this machine
And break the chains that bind us

Yes, it can be a good idea to change the second repetition to the chorus to keep the listened engaged and interested. Muse often uses variation in their choruses to keep things fresh, such as changing the melody or adding additional lyrics.

You could consider making a small alteration to the chorus, such as changing the phrasing or adding an additional line. For example:

Our hopes and dreams turned to dust
Our crumbling souls left to rust
    You broke our will
Your power is the end of us
