Rodrigo's picks were also great too though. Leonard Cohen is one of my mom's favorites, The Smoke is a great song, and Tool is one of my absolute favorite bands as well.
I love love love Rodrigo y Gabriela, and if you haven't heard of them, you're missing out. They're one of the very very few bands that has been invited to NPR Tiny Desk more than once, and I highly recommend both appearances:
They have a new studio album coming out soon (already listenable on YouTube and elsewhere); Their first in 4 years. So that's probably why they're starting to pop up in promos like this again...

Oh wow, haven't thought of these guys in years, thank you for posting! Diablo Rojo and Tamacun were particular favorites of mine.
