There was never a band like Rush. Geddy Lee doesn’t want to forget it.

I read a lot but rarely autobiographies. Neil Peart's book 'Ghost Rider' was an exception. After losing his 19 yr old daughter (car accident) and his wife (cancer) in a very short time, he got on his motorcycle and just started driving, with no particular goal or place in mind. Along the way he wrote, did a lot of journalling and reflection. And drinking while he contemplated. He drove over 55,000 miles on his bike. Not many have the opportunity to take that much time to think deeply about life and his reflections were fascinating. He was not your typical 'showman' rocker - Peart was a deep thinker and an icon. Well worth the read.

Rush is still one of the most impressive talents to ever come out of Canada.

The article tells the band’s story and has lots of old pictures. (On the occasion of Geddy Lee publishing his memoir.)
