Released alongside another track, although I'm not sure if it's a B-side or another track from the album. Either way, give that a listen too!
BTW, all the track names are listed on Bandcamp. Only Stop the Music and Does The Swallow Dream Of Flying are available to listen to right now though, same as on YouTube:...

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy his more experimental/ambient stuff too, like his previous EP (Wild Wet World) and album (Wake Up Calls)... but I really really want another folktronica, and art/chamber pop album like MMHH&I was. I've been craving more of that kind of music from him ever since that first album was released, but instead it's felt like he's gone more and more experimental/ambient over time.
I think I'm in the same boat. The last couple of albums haven't really done it for me, but they also haven't felt like "proper" albums (for want of a better descriptor). Eye to the Ear seems to be...
I think I'm in the same boat. The last couple of albums haven't really done it for me, but they also haven't felt like "proper" albums (for want of a better descriptor). Eye to the Ear seems to be dropping with more fanfare and deliberation than Wake Up calls and Wild Wet World, so I suspect (read: hope) this is going to be a release more in line with the first album. Either way, more Cosmo is always something to be excited about! I managed to snag tickets to a local show in April as well, where I assume he'll be playing a lot of these new tracks :D

Damn, I'm super jealous! I missed seeing him last time he was in Toronto since his concert unfortunately took place on the same day as my sister's birthday. He comes here so rarely, I really should have just gone anyways, and made it up to my sister afterwards. :/ But hopefully he does another show or two here after this new album drops. It doesn't look like there are any Canadian dates scheduled yet though. :(
Here's hoping he does soon. I imagine with a new album out there'll be a North American tour in the works, so fingers crossed it isn't too long for you to wait!

My favorite track so far has been Stop The Music (live), but Interdimensional (live) is a close second. I'm loving all the tracks released so far too though. This album feels like a true return to form for Cosmo, which makes me so happy! All the live videos have been especially awesome. I love getting to peek behind the curtain on this album.
p.s. Speaking of which, did you see the video for the 10 year anniversary of The Moss? That studio, with tons of retro recording equipment and wires running absolutely everywhere, is how I have always pictured his workspace, LOL.

Wake Up Calls and Wild Wet World were nice, but just not up to the exciting level of composition from his first album and early singles. I've not been following much of the video content, although I had a great time with the video for Old Ocean!
Yes! I love The Moss, it was the opening song the first time I saw him live (which will have been around 10 years ago come to think of it), and I totally fell in love from the get-go. I'm glad he's still playing it, because it's such a great tune! The look of his studio is great, seems like such a wonderful place to work, I aspire to that level of studio for myself one day.
Thanks for the ping! I likely would have seen the new tracks once I checked YouTube today, since I love Cosmo Sheldrake, so still have all notifications enabled for his channel. But I still...

The rusty, broken waltz has always been for me a way to understand the intricate dance of everything and the music woven therein. This album explores that, with punctuated moments of bright alarm and artificial birds merrily chirping. Like his other work with Gentle Mystics, Cosmo creates a slippery record steeped in poetic allusion. Don't worry if this one wiggles out of your grasp like a shiny fish.
New live video: Cosmo Sheldrake + Murmuration Choir - Cuckoo Song @0d_billie, were you at this concert at The Trinity Centre in Bristol? You mentioned going to one in April. :P
Ooo, no but that will have been a great gig, it's a good venue! The show I'm at isn't until the 20th D: He's actually playing in Leeds a second time this year in October, so I may end up seeing...

Ah damn. Well, hopefully the choir is there for your show too, because damn, that was a great live version of Cuckoo Song! I'm genuinely so damn jealous of you right now! :( :P

Aha, splendid! 21 tracks is quite something as well, how exciting :)

New tracks released:
Cosmo Sheldrake - Interdimensional + Live version
Cosmo Sheldrake - I Stitched My Mind Back to My Body
These might be my favourite ones so far! Very much enjoying the steady trickle of releases. Looking forward to April 10th a lot!

Most exciting! I'm hoping my vinyl copy arrives this afternoon so I can stick it on with a glass of wine this evening :D
