Apparently she's been doing far more than just this Drumeo video and performing with the Foo Fighters. From her own YouTube channel:
What would be in your Greatest Rock Medley? Being part of the Young Voices 2024 tour @YVTVChannel has been one of the best experiences of my life. I hope I have inspired lots of children to start learning a musical instrument. Between January 2024 and February 2024 I played a 30 night UK Arena tour performing to almost 600,000 people live. I have now performed at the O2 Arena 9 times (including with Lenny Kravitz).
I played a Rock Medley which is made of The Who: Wont get fooled again, The Killers: Somebody told me, Nirvana: Smells like teen spirit, Metallica: Enter Sandman, Foo Fighters: Everlong, Artic Monkeys: Brianstorm, The Who: My Generation, Queen: Don’t Stop me now, Coldplay: Fix You, Led Zeppelin: Rock ’n’ Roll and then a solo I made up myself.

cc: @kfwyre, since I know you're a big Hayley Williams/Paramore fan too, and so I think you might dig this cover. p.s. Did you ever end up listening to After Laughter, if so what did you think of it?
She's awesome! The fact that she says she was inspired by Whiplash (on the Caravan video) lets you know what a badass she is. That movie had the opposite effect on me and stressed me the hell out....

Also I thought we talked about After Laughter but maybe we didn't? It's also great. After I played out This Is Why it went on heavy rotation with me.

Which I then recommended, which is why I asked if you had listened to it yet, and what you thought of it. :P
I could have SWORN we’d talked about it since then? Or maybe I did that thing where I thought through what I was going to say but then never actually did make it a comment? Either way, After...

Either way, After Laughter is great, and I appreciate your nudge towards it. It helped me bridge the gap between Paramore’s sound and Hayley Williams’s solo stuff. I can see the fingerprints of her later stuff there, but also follow the Paramore thread from the previous albums.
I wish I had shared my thoughts back when the album was current because I’ve since lost a lot of the specifics. I do remember thinking that the album has an understated depth. It starts with “Hard Times” and “Rose-Colored Boy”, both of which are catchy and hook-driven pop songs that sort of prime you to feel that it’s going to be a lighter or less substantial album, but then “Fake Happy” hits and it sort of feels like the album’s thesis.
Also, as a minor fan of mewithoutYou, “No Friend” was a nice surprise.
I don't think we talked about it again after that. But in any case, I'm glad you liked it! I figured you would, which was why I was so surprised when you said you hadn't listened to it yet (at...

As I said before, it's my favorite Paramore album, and based on your insight about how it bridges the gap between Paramore and Hayley's solo career stuff (which I am way more of a fan of) it makes total sense why I would like it so much. I had never thought about there being that sort of evolutionary connection between them like that, but you're absolutely spot on.
BTW, don't get me wrong, I still have massive nostalgia for Paramore's earlier stuff, but I genuinely adore Hayley's solo works. Petals for Armor is amongst my most replayed albums (esp the Self-Serenades acoustic tracks), and Flowers for Vases is criminally underrated!
p.s. I actually like the cover art of After Laughter... it's 80s/early-90s graphic design nostalgia overload, which suits the album really well, IMO. :P

She’s awesome. I saw this a while back. Wanted to chime in on Drumeo though - there is a playlist I blazed through where they “make” incredibly talented drummers play a track blind. Some song they’ve never heard before. It’s glorious. Every one of them are just pretty much a deer in headlights, uncomfortable, some take notes, and then they play their ass off. All are very cool, some have a freaky sixth sense about it and nearly recreate the original spot-on, and some are just bonkers. Highly recommended- and who knew Phil Collin’s son has massive chops.
I have posted a few of those videos here on Tildes too, so I definitely second the recommendation! p.s. Playlists for those interested: Hearing Songs For The First Time and Learning Songs As Fast...
