I listened to all of Harry Styles’s Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally. I loved all of his last three albums and for a bit there I idolized him and even wanted to dress like him (although I never did once I lost the weight).
I really enjoyed Aperture. I like electronic music and was excited at the prospect of this album sounding like that. It doesn’t really. There’s maybe three other songs that are even in the same vein (Ready, Steady, Go!, Pop, and Dance No More). Which in a way kind of reminded me of Short N Sweet where I was expecting an Espresso album and got a Please Please Please album.
It does feel disjointed, that’s been the common complaint of the album. There’s so many different sounds but none of them mesh well nor is there coherence. It’s a step down from Harry’s House which was well put together, fun, and had a more interesting sound.
Don’t understand the title, there’s no Disco here. If you’re gonna include that you should maybe have some of it in your album. It’s not a club album which I think is what the title, the marketing, and Aperture suggested it would be.
Kind of makes me wonder what the hell he was even doing in Berlin. Why didn’t he bring on Gesaffelstein as a producer to make his version of Random Access Memories or something. It just seemed directionless, and the end product is a bit boring.
Been listening to Pachinko, the latest album from Moron Police.

Definitely my favourite of their albums. Still prog, but more melodic and accessible. They just did a successful kickstarter for a physical edition, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get a hold of a physical copy.
They also made a fun music video for King Among Kittens.
I have been spending a lot of time on Epidemic sound and khinsider because I want to implement music into an audio file to turn into as an assignment. I was required to create a short casual podcast but I think I accidentally transformed it into a twenty minute audio documentary about the layers of the ocean. Oh well, too late to change it now.
Some soundtracks I am going to use:
