I see this as one of the best hip hop tracks of the last few years. Two of the best to ever rap, over a weird, spaced-out beat, with some of the most audacious and braggadocious lines ever? Let's go.

Ignoring my downer shit, I've really loved this track from the second it dropped. Absolutely my kind of dark weird beat and we get top shelf bars from push and hov alike. I was amazed at the time that Jay found a way to sound cool again, it's like he finally realized he doesn't have to act young and hop trends anymore, he can fill the old legend role perfectly. Even with that, he managed to reference "damn daniel" and not make it sound awful and instantly outdated, which I wouldn't have thought was possible at all. Great track.

What about Daytona makes you sad? I would put Daytona above My Name Is My Name or Darkest Before Dawn, for sheer consistency. I don't love everything about every track on Daytona, but every track...
