Oddly enough, the only other Ukrainian band I know of has a very similar name, DakhaBrakha, and are similarly great. Their Tiny Desk concert is one of my all-time favorites as is their Live on KEXP concert.
edit: Apparently both Dakh Daughters and DakhaBrakha originate from the same theatre company at the DAKh Center for Contemporary Arts in Kiev, and even have some of the same band members. So I guess that explains the similar names. :P
I'm a big DakhaBrakha fan, their violoncellist is also in Dakh Daughters indeed (she's only singing and playing the shaker in this one). I love this one too, apparently it's a traditional text in...
