Oh man, yes, I totally get why this reminds you of that. I'm hoping that the Google Play station based off this band has some good finds; I realize that the fusion is a bit of a gimmick, but I...

Richard Cheese is a perfect example of a gimmick taken to the absolute extreme; He just turns everything into lounge music but there is no denying his band is absolutely fantastic and he consistently puts out amazingly entertaining cover songs. Fusion is hardly a gimmick by comparison. :P

If you like all of the bands we've just talked about you might also like The Creepshow, a band that I've loved for 10 years.
Yup, that's pretty much what they're like. I have enjoyed every album (and every singer) that they've had. If you've heard of Walk off the Earth, the female singer from that band was the second...

I have enjoyed every album (and every singer) that they've had. If you've heard of Walk off the Earth, the female singer from that band was the second singer for the Creepshow, with the original singer being her sister. Current singer... unrelated, I believe.
Also, they're all lovely people, or they were the last time I spoke / hung out with them, which was admittedly many years ago.

Well if the first YouTube result is any indication I will definitely be listening to more. They remind me very much of old-school No Doubt. Thanks. :)
