Later that year, he teamed up with the popular Dutch band Het Goede Doel to top the Dutch charts (#1 for three weeks in 1989) with Alles kan een mens gelukkig maken (Everything can make a man happy). A song for which in particular the refrain starting with Een eigen huis, een plek onder de zon (A private home, a place under the sun) morphed into a community sing-a-long evergreen.
Alles Kan Een Mens Gelukkig Maken is the second title of the song, and René Froger is the singer. Here is a link to another upload on YouTube. Obligatory “Fuck Copyrasty” comment.

Ah okay, thanks. And thanks to @Kelsier, too. edit: It has a pretty cheesy Eurovision-like pop sound but I dig it. ;) edit2: The next autoplay song is great too BTW: Het Goede Doel - België
I have a decent amount of Eurovision songs scattered throughout various playlists too, though most of mine are more recent and more "serious" music, not the super cheesy stuff. E.g. My favorite...

I feel like this was a pretty famous song at some point? My dad still occasionally sings some notes of it.
Yes. According to the Wiki:
No luck finding it anywhere else, either. No song.link page, nothing on spotify, etc. :(
I found it on Spotify
That links to Alles Kan Een Mens Gelukkig Maken by Rene Froger for me, is that the same song?

Funny that you mentioned Eurovision, since René Froger actually performed at the Eurovision 2009 in Moscow. (He's the curly guy in the middle.)
LOL... goddamn I love Eurovision. It's so insanely, over the top, cheesy. It's the music equivalent of a low budget B movie; so bad it's good.
I have a two-hour-long playlist of my favourite Eurovision songs, and I mostly agree. Where else can you see a Fabulous Dubstep Dracula?

I even have a Studio version in a playlist too, since I like it so much:
