But I am a bit biased... I hate the vast majority of studio albums (particularly the modern overproduced and pitch corrected ones) and much prefer live, minimalist and acoustic versions of everything. Hence my love of coversongs and live performances.
I'm almost entirely an album-based listener (I am an RYM user, after all) so yeah, haven't liked the direction he's gone. Definitely agree on being overproduced and too clean. That's all modern...

Man, Yes Lawd! is such a good album. Picked it up at a record store knowing nothing about it other than it was .paak and wasn't disappointed
