One of the best episodes they did in recent times. I was initially thinking it was going to be the usual case of what they call in the episode "hybrid memory", where the person is mixing different things together, and it was gonna turn into them finding the separate songs, but I was very surprised and pleased with the end result. (Especially after that one episode they did with the crazy hair guy where we were left with no answers...)
Now I can't stop thinking about how many songs may have been buried thanks to music labels' poor handling of distribution in the 90's.

Incredible story, I was suspecting a fake/hybrid memory, like Susan Rogers suggested, but it's actually the opposite. Tyler remembered it perfectly.

I figured that them recording their song reproduction would be the finale, so revealing that halfway through is quite the surprise. On the other hand, I'm a little disappointed with "We never checked on Facebook" as the break in the case, mostly because that's something I overlooked and the no sharing policy is the dumbest policy, but I guess it makes since that people would share song lyrics on Facebook, especially the songwriter.
Offtopic/meta, but does this really deserve the spoiler tag? What exactly does this episode reveal that people might potentially get mad at for not being warned about first?

Side note: this instantly reminded me of this hilarious situation on Reddit.
Another great one yours reminded me of from reddit:
Can you play the Reebok or Nike Song?
The comments in there have a few more funny ones as well.

It's a damn catchy song, IMO. I can see why everyone got so obsessed over it. :P
And it's incredibly impressive how close the one they made was. (at 18:18 in the podcast)

Given the comments here leaning that way now, I think I will actually add
