    Over the past few weeks, I've snuck some covers by Colt Clark & The Quarantaine Kids in my playlist.
    Not all of them compare well to the original, but I like Colts voice and the intermittent shrieks of joy by the kid make it have that 'live' feel.
    Maybe it's because I'm missing concerts and shows and going to a bar to hear some random band, but I have noticed I'm turning more and more to live recordings. Which was something I used to shun.
    Maybe that's why I also have The Polyphonic Spree, CocoRosie and Devendra Banhart on repeat. I must be in need of good vibes that feel like they were recorded on a whim.

    I've been struggling with getting things done while working from home, so I've been blasting DAMN. way to much and way too loud, just to get in the zone... I also stumbled upon Strange Energies by...

    I've been struggling with getting things done while working from home, so I've been blasting DAMN. way to much and way too loud, just to get in the zone...

    I also stumbled upon Strange Energies by Philip Glass and Eleonor Sandresky. I'm no "Classic-head" by any means so while I like Philipp Glass' minimalism, it can become kind of tiresome at some points. Strange Energies while still very minimal was way more pleasant and not taxing at all.

    These are newer albums in the Americana style that are all really well recorded by some super talented folks.
