The Radio Three station has long been a favorite of Poland’s intelligentsia. Commonly called Trojka, it is known for promoting noncommercial musical genres, such as alternative rock and jazz, though it also features speech-based programming, including spirited intellectual debates. Under communism, it was the only institution that was allowed to broadcast music from beyond the Iron Curtain. ... [Metz] said in an interview that even the Communist regime had more respect for the freedom of speech at Trojka than the current government has.

Also, I have a question regarding tagging: is there a stance on anglicizing tags? I added jaroslaw kaczynski as a tag; the proper tag would be jarosław kaczyński, but I'm uncertain if using non-English letters is a good idea for tags.

Edit: Found my answer: Tildes throws a 422 error when trying to search for jarosław kaczyński as a tag.

Tildes currently only allows a very limited character set (English alphanumerics IIRC) to be used in tags. If you tried to input jarosław kaczyński into the tag submission form it would turn red and return a 'tags: Invalid tags' message if you tried to submit it. That is likely done to avoid a percent encoded mess in the URL, and also because of this related info from the docs: https://docs.tildes.net/philosophy/site-design#tildes-and-non-english-languages

      Tildes and non-English languages

For now, Tildes supports only one language: English. Many of the site's goals will be difficult or impossible to work towards without being able to understand what's going on in a community, so for now everything needs to be primarily in English. This may change someday in the future, and if it does, the hierarchical groups could work very well for giving other languages their own set of groups.

The situation that spawned this song seems to be repeating itself everywhere. The elites are skirting the rules if convenient...money opens a lot of doors. They're also pushing very hard to re-open everything, including things that should not under any circumstance be re-opened right now.

A small example I know first-hand is that the beach town I was planning to vacation at (and had paid 90% of) prior to COVID re-opened the beaches (only for walking/running mind you...no lounging or swimming) and permitted rentals to start as of this past weekend. Which means that people who had already entered rental leases now don't have a legal recourse to get refunds (because things are open!), and it is now 100% open to landlord discretion whether to refund deposits for people who don't think it's remotely safe to jump-start the tourism industry.
