this is hilarious. It's a shame they want me to login with twitter and stuff to chat, though. I miss this aesthetic.

The "Poooooolsiiiiiiide" boot up sound got a chuckle out of me, and the random 80s videos that play along with the music are nostalgia inducing and wonderfully cheesy/funny as well. The music itself is pretty decent so far too... I even got a Vulfpeck remix to start (Backpocket - Discorazor Remix), which is always a good sign.

I've been digging "Friday Night Nite Heat" playlist as well, and discovered quite a few new tracks on there that I liked enough to find on Youtube and add to my playlists. E.g. Cut Slack - Closer

p.s. The original version of Backpocket is pretty great too BTW, and the video always makes me smile. :)

I really miss Berlin Community Radio. The sets were all over the place, but it was such a great avenue for discovery -- especially for really obscure tracks. is the Friday Night Heat playlist on...

The classic MacOS-themed site is fun, but if you want to listen on the go they're also on SoundCloud.

Poolside FM was conceived one awfully rainy summer in the Highlands of Scotland - a virtual vacation, if you will. The audio and video streams are curated to inject a healthy dose of serotonin into your brain.

They now have a PalmPilot-throwback iOS app, if anyone’s interested! Android version coming as well.

If Estrelar isn't there, it's not worth a damn as an 80's Miami radio station.
