    I learned about them recently from their first NPR appearance, which is definitely worth watching. Excited to see they're back. Their genre listing on Wikipedia is "ethno-chaos" which is perfect

          I bought it the day it was released yes ;) I think I prefer The Road but it's still very good.

            The Road was great too, but it's a bit too traditional and mellow for me. Whereas Alambari is basically more of the same type of stuff they have performed at their various appearances on NPR,...

            The Road was great too, but it's a bit too traditional and mellow for me. Whereas Alambari is basically more of the same type of stuff they have performed at their various appearances on NPR, KEXP, and the like, over the years; i.e. More modern, experimental, lively, and fusion-y... so more my taste. :)
