What have you been listening to this week?

What have you been listening to this week? You don't need to do a 6000 word review if you don't want to, but please write something! If you've just picked up some music, please update on that as well, we'd love to see your hauls :)

Feel free to give recs or discuss anything about each others' listening habits.

You can make a chart if you use last.fm:

I'm in love with Floral Strobe by False Noise, it's really refreshing with stellar sound design and solid composition (good mix of catchy bits mixed with more grating ones)....

Last night we watched Roots of Latin Jazz on PBS's Great Performances. Latin Jazz is not something I've spent a lot of time listening to. I got a bit of it when I lived in Miami for a few years. But Sheila E. hosted it and I've been watching her Masterclass series and wanted to see her in action. (She only plays on the last piece, but the whole thing is really good!) I'll just say that I was really wowed by it. There was some amazing playing, and it was a lot of fun. I especially liked the pieces from Cameroon and Spain.
