      They were utterly destroyed in the public opinion during the Second Intifada. 147 terror attacks between 2000 and 2008. You can't expect a nation to stay the same after that.

      Nothing's gonna change. It is putting it into law which was already the case in practice. Zionism is ok with having an Arab minority inside the Jewish state, but not an Arab minority that expects...

      I think the resolution is meant to affirm that Israel is not a multinational state, but an explicitly Jewish state that happens to have some Arabs in it. Loss of self-determination in this context...

      I think the resolution is meant to affirm that Israel is not a multinational state, but an explicitly Jewish state that happens to have some Arabs in it. Loss of self-determination in this context seems to mean that the state of Israel no longer recognizes Arabs as a co-equal nation that exists within its borders.
