    Cue the government pushing for much stricter drone legislation. All it takes is a few people to fuck up everything for the majority especially when it leads to widespread disruption i.e valuable £££ lost for Heathrow.

        It looks like the UK government has already started plans on tightening regulations. Police will have extra powers to deal with illegal drone use, registration for 250g - 20kg drones, airport...

        It looks like the UK government has already started plans on tightening regulations. Police will have extra powers to deal with illegal drone use, registration for 250g - 20kg drones, airport exclusion zones being increased to 5km and competency tests being being phased in this year according to this BBC article.
