Incredibly proud of how Hong Kongers stand against what's wrong. But I can't help being a little cynical of how this will help, as mentioned in the article there was already the kidnapping of the political bookstore owner which is also not an isolated act further in the 2014 umbrella revolution Hong Kong police proved that they were jot afraid of using excessive force if it meant that people and most importantly students would stay quiet in their protest. Now, China and Hong Kong are far from the dystopia that many on the internet make it out to be but I can't help feeling in times like these that that's the way things are heading.

I just hope the protesters are being strategic about it.
