There are now traffic cameras that can spot you using your phone while driving

I’m normally against pervasive surveillance but I kind of like this idea. I guess it depends on the implementation. If data isn’t stored on non-offenders and not sold to anyone, this could make roads drastically safer without the downsides I normally get worried about.

But they’ll probably implement it in a privacy invasive way.
