    I'm a little confused as to the problem here? It sounds like the absentee ballot request forms were mailed to people pre-filled, but they still had to confirm all the information was correct, sign it, and mail it in? That seems fine to me?

      It looks like Linn County (which is home to Cedar Rapids, Iowa's second-biggest city) votes Democrat by a pretty solid margin, so they're probably trying to suppress those votes. The judge cites...

      It looks like Linn County (which is home to Cedar Rapids, Iowa's second-biggest city) votes Democrat by a pretty solid margin, so they're probably trying to suppress those votes. The judge cites orders from the (currently Republican) state government forbidding pre-filled ballot request forms, and although I don't have any evidence for this particular situation, Republicans across the country have been doing this for a while now so that's my assessment.

      I'm a bit confused as to the reasoning on this as well. I'm surprised there is no link to the court's website so we can see what the logic behind it was.
