Their currency has lost 90% of its value before he took over. One in four Argentinians lives in poverty before he took over. There is little left to ruin.

      He's a really bizarre mixed bag. He's a true believer libertarian, but not quite like the US libertarian party. Some of his economic policies have been good changes that will benefit the economy...

Some of his economic policies have been good changes that will benefit the economy like removing export tariffs and trimming housing regulations. Some of his social policies certainly come from his dogs though...

      The history of Argentina under Peronists can be summarized as "and then things got worse", so Milei was swept into power.
