    It's less interesting to have actual scientists on TV. You can keep putting new spins on a lie. The truth doesn't change.

    That's always the case. There's the Party AFD in Germany. It gets a decently sized chunk of votes just because it gets a lot of coverage by the media since it is a party involved in a lot of scandals.
