Reading through the paper I really can't find much worth talking about. It's a pretty straightforward experiment and it doesn't seem to overstep it's bounds. With that all being said, I do appreciate that the authors mention that instability and sources of worry, such as job loss and a global pandemic might fuel this political polarization. It certainly would be a good way to explain how extremely polarized individuals tend to crop up in the most unstable regions of the world.
