    Good ideas, overall, even if they're not likely to be implemented. In regards to presidential primaries, if we absolutely must keep them, I think it's important that they're all at the same time....

    Good ideas, overall, even if they're not likely to be implemented. In regards to presidential primaries, if we absolutely must keep them, I think it's important that they're all at the same time. With how staggered they tend to be, a very small portion of the population has a completely outsized say in them - whoever is leading in the first few states, no matter how few people voted, tends to get artificially propped up by the media and the party itself.

    This seems like a few ideas that come up every once in a while. There's always the issue that people in power aren't going to vote to limit their power, and the changes that they want to make are...

    This seems like a few ideas that come up every once in a while. There's always the issue that people in power aren't going to vote to limit their power, and the changes that they want to make are either constitutionally implausible, or the fundraising backbone of the Democratic Party. I'm not sure proof of there being a better system is going to convince those being paid in wealth and influence by this current one.
