this is a rare win for a social democratic party in europe, but the math here is still pretty wacky because you need 101 seats for a majority in the finnish parliament and the SDP only has 40. my guess is the final government here is probably going to be a permutation of them, at least one other left of center party (green league or left alliance or both), probably one or both of the centrist parties (center or the swedish people's party or both), and maybe the national coalition (which is center-right) if they absolutely can't get something else done.
