    Expect to hear news from other orbital firms like SpaceX regarding takeover of maintenance operations vital for the ISS's stability, including boosts to prevent orbit decay, crew rotations, and supply launches.

    I had no idea there was a Soyuz launch facility in French Guiana. Apparently it was in use from 2011 to 2022.

    There was some possibility that duplicate hardware could be borrowed from the mothballed Site 1 in Baikonur or from similar facilities at other launch sites. There were four Soyuz pads in Plesetsk at one point, also one pad operated in Vostochny and one mothballed pad was in Kourou, French Guiana.

    I had no idea there was a Soyuz launch facility in French Guiana. Apparently it was in use from 2011 to 2022.
