    Just listened to this, thought it was pretty solid content. Always love hearing Shotwell's perspective on things, as I really respect what she's done with SpaceX, and she seems to have less of a tendency towards overly optimistic timelines than Musk.

      Shotwell is in some ways the reality to Musk's hype. Her position and importance is frankly extremely understated by the male-dominated spaceflight news cycle & industry which gives a lot of attention to Elon and his ambitious insane timelines, in my opinion. It's also part of the reason why I think Tesla is managed significantly less well than SpaceX: there's never been a Gwynne at Tesla. Some always assigned the Tesla-equivalent of Shotwell as von Holzhausen, but he ever only existed at Tesla in an advisory design capacity.
