Definitely not. At his age you have to wonder if he'll ever be the same player again. Will he get back to full strength? He's already seen a big drop off in power the last couple of years. And...

And will the bat speed and timing still be there? Trust me on this - I'm a Mets fan. We have seen some injuries.

You never want to see an injury like this--especially to a HoF caliber guy.
