    1. MLB World Series 2023 - Texas Rangers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Rangers and Diamonbacks fans may be few and far between on Tildes, but I figured it's worth a shot! Let's use this post to discuss the battle of the underdogs. As for myself, I'm a lifelong...

Let's use this post to discuss the battle of the underdogs.

As for myself, I'm a lifelong Rangers fan, which is to say I'm used to misery. It's a bit surreal to be back in the WS after such a crazy end to the regular season AND postseason.

    2. Thoughts on the World Series so far?

I'm a Red Sox fan so don't have much invested in this WS but it has been AWESOME so far! I'm at a point where I really want the Rays to win but wouldn't be bummed to see Mookie and Joe Kelly get...

I'm a Red Sox fan so don't have much invested in this WS but it has been AWESOME so far! I'm at a point where I really want the Rays to win but wouldn't be bummed to see Mookie and Joe Kelly get another ring. Also, redemption for the Astros shenanigans.

My favorite moment is likely a predictable one but I'll say it anyway... the walk-off hit in game four was just an emotional roller coaster.

Anyone else watching? If so, what are your thoughts so far?

    3. The Cubs' Alec Mills has no-hit the Milwaukee Brewers

I'm not watching baseball as much this season but it's still pretty awesome that someone on my team got this. It's the second no-hitter of the season I believe. Some fun facts related to this:...

Some fun facts related to this:

      • Both Chicago teams have a no-hitter in the same season for the first time in MLB history
      • Both no-hitters at Miller Park have been thrown by Cubs pitchers, although the first was a neutral-site game against the Astros in 2008

edit: Can I get the title changed to "The Cubs' Alec Mills no-hits the Milwaukee Brewers"? I think it fits better now that the day it happened has passed.
